Description

The Schneider Platinum IRND Filter Kit, 4×5.65″, includes 0.3, 0.6, 0.9, 1.2, 1.5 and 1.8 density filters, darkening the image to allow a wider aperture or slower shutter for depth-of-field and motion control.

The IRND design targets digital sensors specifically, giving near-flat attenuation across visible and infrared light — digital sensors are more sensitive to IR than film, and without IR correction, dark subjects can pick up unwanted colour casts at longer exposures. Multiple anti-reflection coating layers prevent internal ghosting, and the filters are built from Water White glass with no colour effect of their own, making them safe to pair with other filters.
