Description
The Kessler K-Pod is a rigid tripod system built to support camera cranes and jibs, with double-strut legs and an incremental Posi-Lock system that friction-locks and interlocks into position — no slipping under load.
Build
A pop-lock spreader locks the legs in a pre-stressed position for stability under heavy loads, and doubles as the frame for various dolly configurations. A 100mm bowl levelling system gives quick, accurate levelling, in a flat black anodised, scratch-resistant finish. The K-Pod works equally well as a standalone shooting tripod when not supporting a crane, with interchangeable feet — dual-locking dolly casters, all-terrain wheels, stainless spikes or swivelling track dolly trucks.
Kessler Hercules 2.0 Head
Bio-Glide technology gives smoother pan/tilt than a typical fluid head, with locking pan/tilt drag control and a vertical pin lock that turns the head into a fluid swivel. An adjustable handle, built-in bullseye level, and mounting via 100mm ball, 75mm ring or flat mount round out the head — rated to 150lb.
