Description
The Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS R 0.71x lets EF-mount lenses attach to RF-mount cine and mirrorless cameras with a Super 35 sensor, using an internal optical system to restore field of view lost to the crop while gaining roughly a stop of light.
Compatibility
Electric contacts maintain full communication between lens and camera, including metadata and Dual Pixel AF on select EF lenses — confirmed full support on the EF 16-35mm f/2.8L III, 24-70mm f/2.8L II and 24-105mm f/4L IS II. The adapter fits any EF lens physically, though only certain lenses retain full autofocus and metadata. It mounts securely to the EOS C70 via four screws and a split locking collar.
