Description
The Atomos Shogun Inferno is a 7″, 1920×1200 monitor/recorder combining 4K recording with a 10-bit FRC panel for native HDR (log) display and high-brightness Rec.709 viewing at 1500 nits.
Recording
4K HDMI and 12G-SDI inputs support clean signal capture up to UHD 4K at 60fps, recording 10-bit 4:2:2 ProRes or Avid DNxHR to 2.5″ SSDs. Unlike the similar Shogun Flame, the Inferno supports Quad 3G-SDI input, including DCI 4K raw video streams over SDI from select Sony and Canon cameras, encoding them as ProRes/DNxHR. Additional modes cover 5.7K at 30fps, 4K at 120fps (DCI/UHD) and 2K at 240fps (DCI/HD).
