The STORM 1200x uses Aputure’s new BLAIR chipset, which combines blue, lime, amber, indigo, and red LEDs. As a result, it produces cleaner whites and richer tones across the full colour range. It also delivers impressive accuracy with 95 CRI and TLCI ratings, plus an 87 SSI score at 3200K and 5600K. The wide CCT range (2500K–10,000K) gives you complete control of colour temperature. In addition, the green-magenta adjustment helps fine-tune your white balance easily.
At 5600K daylight, the light reaches 202,500 lux at 1 metre when paired with the 45° reflector. That’s serious output for professional lighting setups. The STORM 1200x features stepless dimming from 0.1% to 100%. Therefore, you can adjust brightness precisely without any flicker or colour shift.
Moreover, it supports multiple control options including DMX, LumenRadio CRMX, Art-Net, sACN Ethernet, and Bluetooth. You can also use the Sidus Link or Sidus Link Pro app for wireless control. This flexibility makes it easy to integrate into any lighting workflow.
