How to Hire

All bookings should be made in advance where possible to ensure availability.

Please provide all details of your booking including:

  • Your name, email address and contact phone number
  • Equipment required
  • Dates equipment is required
  • Date and time you will pick up the equipment

Payment

We accept hire payments by direct deposit (EFT), all major credit cards (American Express, Visa, Mastercard) and cash. No surcharge is applied for Visa or Mastercard payments, however a 3.5% surcharge applies to American Express card payments.

Identification and Security Deposit

In most circumstances Camera Hire does not require a security deposit providing appropriate photo identification is provided by the hirer. Our insurance requires 100 points of identification for coverage. This should include at minimum a scan (or photo) of your Passport, Australian Photo ID and credit card (feel free to block out some of the digits in the photo for security). Insurance

Camera Hire offers insurance on all hired equipment for an additional 9% of the hire fee. This covers accidental loss and damage, theft, and covers equipment while in transit within Australia. Please contact us if you require cover while overseas. See our terms and conditions page for details on insurance cover.

Equipment Delivery

We can arrange delivery throughout Australia, with pick up and same-day delivery options available for Sydney Metro customers. Please see our deliveries page for details.
