The Sony A7S mark II Mirrorless Digital Camera is capable of internal UHD 4K recording at 30 fps. It offers full pixel readout as well as 1080p recording at up to 120 fps. The camera also introduces an impressive internal 5-axis SteadyShot image stabiliser. This compensates for vertical, horizontal, pitch, yaw, and roll camera movements. The result is sharper, smoother hand-held recording. The A7S Mark II offers an unmatched blend of sensitivity, dynamic range, resolution, and speed to benefit a versatile workflow. The camera houses a full-frame 12.2MP CMOS sensor. For both stills and video recording, the image processor enables expanded sensitivity to ISO 409600. Continuous shooting to 5 fps is available, as well as fast intelligent autofocus.

To complement the 4K recording capabilities S-Log3 Gamma and S-Gamut3 in addition to S-Log2 are available. This increases the dynamic range values by up to 1300%. For clearer monitoring, an enhanced Zebra function supports working with S-Log gamma. A Gamma Display Assist allows you to preview imagery with natural contrast by converting S-Log2 and S-Log3 settings to the ITU709 gamma for easier on-camera viewing.

The Sony A7S mark II has a compact, robust, magnesium alloy body and incorporates an OLED electronic viewfinder. A rear 3.0″ LCD screen is also includes. Additionally, Sony have added built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to pair mobile devices to the camera for wireless sharing and remote camera control.
