Product Description

This kit features the Sony FS700 Camera, Metabones Speed Booster and Canon Zoom Lens Kit. This kit is perfect for any project – be it a Doco, Short Film, TVC, or online video – this production kit will give you what you need to get it done.

The Sony NEX FS700 camera is the latest Full-HD Super Slow Motion camcorder in Sony’s line-up of NXCAM interchangeable E-mount camcorders. Designed for high-speed shooting, the FS700 is capable of capturing footage at up to 960 frames per second and features a range of capabilities such as 3G HD-SDI output and built-in ND filters. The FS700 can shoot 1920×1080 at 50p in it’s normal shooting mode, and with a press of the S&Q button you can toggle between higher frame rate options, up to 200 / 240fps at full resolution, then to 800 / 960 at reduced resolution. The Sony NEX FS700 hire camera utilizes a new 4K “Exmor” Super 35 CMOS sensor offering excellent dynamic range and low light sensitivity. The use of the Metabones adapter provides full functionality from the huge range of Canon CN-E and EF lenses, including aperture and stabilisation.

The Metabones Speed Booster provides an excellent solution for those looking to use EF mount lenses on Sony E-mount camera bodies. The conventional Metabones adapter has been hugely popular with users of the Sony FS700, enabling use of the enormous Canon EF lens range. Not only does the Speed Booster provide full functionality as per the basic adapter, but has a few excellent features of its own. Primarily, this adapter not only increases apparent lens sharpness, but offers a 0.71x crop factor enabling more efficient use of wide angle lenses on a crop sensor. It also allows any given lens to gain an additional stop of light when mounted to the adapter. For example turning a 70-200mm f/2.8 zoom lens into an f/2 maximium aperture lens, a significant increase – especially for low light situations that demand shooting at the widest possible aperture.

The Canon Zoom Lens Kit includes the Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 L II, 24-70mm f/2.8 L II, 70-200mm f/2.8 L II lenses. The ultimate kit for any given situation.

The Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 L II delivers higher image quality at the wide-angle end, enhancing optical performance, resolution and contrast. Compared to the previous version I, the version II provides increased sharpness and minimises distortion. This lens is often used by customers for landscape and event work, however can easily serve as a general purpose walk around lens.

The Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 L II is a high-performance zoom lens. One of the best general-purpose lenses in Canon’s lineup. Ideal for portraiture, wedding and photo-journalistic photography. Exceptional build is combined with outstanding image quality. The fast 2.8 aperture makes it excellent in lower-light situations.

The Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II rental lens is the newest and highest quality iteration of the Canon L-Series 70-200 zooms. With a constant F/2.8 aperture, the IS II Optical Image Stabilization providing up to 4 stops of correction and a 1.2m close focus this lens is designed for serious photography. An optical construction of 23 elements in 19 groups with 5 UD and one fluorite element ensures top notch optical performance. EF teleconverters 1.4x & 2x can be used with this lens for increased focal length.
